U.S. Military Spending vs. the World: This is Crazy

The U.S. Pentagon and military has more money than it needs.
It’s hard to draw any other conclusion from the stark facts: the U.S. outspends every other nation on earth when it comes to our military. We spend more than the next seven countries combined. Where does the money go? Here’s a hint: Pentagon spending is subject to the same rules of corporate greed that plague our entire economy. More than half of the Pentagon budget goes to for-profit contractors. Let’s get the word out there. The less we spend on Pentagon contractors that profit from fear and conflict, the more we can spend on priorities like education, climate change and infrastructure to move our country forward into the 21st first century. It’s time we joined the rest of the world … for more, go to https://www.nationalpriorities.org/blog/2016/04/20/us-military-spending-vs-world-crazy/

The US is alienating from the rest of the world in economy and trade

KUALA LUMPUR (May 2018): The Americans have only themselves to blame as they find themselves alienated further from the rest of the world in business and trade.

They have only their trigger-happy-sanction-tariff President Donald Trump to blame.

The tariff-slapping Trump, who ignited a trade war with China, has rocked the global economy that is beginning to backfire on the US.

The Reuters news report titled U.S. driven by self-interest in wanting to block Russia pipeline - German minister says it all.

The US’ psycho-like pursuit to demonise Russia and China is beginning to backfire with the rest of the world mulling retaliation against the American foreign economic policies.

I Love Malaysia-China Silk Road has in numerous blog posts stressed that the US should “think out of the box” and not behave like it did in the 20th Century Cold War with Russia.

The 21st Century US Cold War is clearly with the Russia-China Combo.

And the Russia-China Combo is digitally and technologically advanced globally, if not superior to the US.

It would be wise for the US to re-look at their global economic and military policies and strategies to ensure that it is not underestimating the combined force of Russia-China.

Also, is the US overspending its wealth on its military agenda?

The further the US alienates itself with its “America First” global action and policies, the weaker the US will become, and its influence on the rest of the world will erode.

This is the Reuters report that may prove to be the tip of the iceberg of the US global economic

BERLIN (Reuters) - A close ally of German Chancellor Angela Merkel issued a stark warning to the United States about the risks of placing "America First", accusing Washington of seeking to block a planned Russia-Germany gas pipeline to shore up its own exports.

Economy minister Peter Altmaier defended the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which is strongly opposed by many East European countries as well as the U.S., who say that by circumventing Ukraine the pipeline will increase Russia's leverage over countries that rely on Moscow's energy sales.

Ahead of a summit due later on Friday between Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Altmaier said the European Union should guarantee that Ukraine will continue to receive gas transit fees, even after the pipeline is built under the Baltic.

But he accused Washington of wanting to block the pipeline, built by Russia's state-controlled energy giant Gazprom and a consortium of European energy companies, in order to boost its own shale gas exports.

"They are looking for markets, which we can understand, and they can land it here easily," he said. "But it is much more expensive than pipeline gas, so blocking Nord Stream 2 on its own won't guarantee exports."

He added that Europe would respond firmly to U.S. attempts to place its own economic interests before those of partners. "The U.S. are our friends and partners, and we want to defend our common values.

"But if it's America first, and they put their economic interest before others, then they have to expect Europe to define their own interests and fight for them."

Have you ever heard about George Washington’s legendary (and probably fictitious) vision? Not many have, but its an incredible story whether its true or not (probably not). Truthfully, unless you’re religious, its pretty easy to view the story as false, but its worth knowing anyway … for more, go to https://www.quora.com/Who-would-win-in-a-war-between-the-United-States-and-the-rest-of-the-world
